Research Report: Industrial Transformation Challenging in Life Sciences

Industrial transformation is a very real phenomenon. Companies are going beyond standard practices to seek out step-change improvement in industrial operations, with several companies already reporting “dramatic results”.
Yet, the life sciences industry is falling behind. So, what are the life sciences companies doing differently? Why, exactly, are they falling behind? What are the “big” things they are trying to accomplish? What, if anything, is delivering significant improvement in life sciences?
To find the answers, LNS Research executed a global survey in early 2019. Two-thirds of companies surveyed have implemented, are currently implementing or plan to implement an Industrial Transformation (IX) program. Of the respondents, 29% of companies are winning at Industrial Transformation programs differently than the rest of the market (IX Leaders).
