Sepha VisionScan: Non-destructive, deterministic blister leak testing down to 7µm

Posted: 26 April 2019 | | No comments yet

Introducing a smart alternative to traditional blue dye test methods. The Sepha VisionScan uses a non-destructive method to provide reliable, objective and deterministic results. The machine doesn’t require tooling, making it ideal for production lines running multiple products.

The Sepha VisionScan uses a combination of imaging technology and differential pressure and can detect leaks in individual blister packs down to 7 micron (pack dependent). It offers pharmaceutical manufacturers a cost saving alternative to methylene blue dye testing as the blister packs aren’t destroyed during testing enabling product to be returned to the production line.
