Frédéric Fougerat appointed Vice President Communications of Ethypharm

Frédéric Fougerat (44) has been appointed Vice President Communications of the pharmaceutical company Ethypharm.

He is also a member of the Executive Committee and he reports to Hugues Lecat, Chairman & CEO of the Management Board

With more than 20 years of experience in communications, Frédéric Fougerat has held management positions in the public and private sectors, including radio and the French Parliament.

Communications Director for the Vedior Group in France (HR Services World N°3) from 2003 to 2007, and Communications Director for the Geoservices Group (Mud Logging World N°1) from 2007 to 2010 (now part of Schlumberger), he was also Managing Director of the Vedior Foundation for equal opportunities, and of the Geoservices Institute for Education and Development. Also Sustainable Development Manager of the Vedior Group, Frédéric Fougerat has become Permanent Representative for the United Nation Global Compact (2003 – 2007), before assuming a similar role for the Geoservices Group from 2007 to 2010.

In 2009, Frédéric Fougerat was awarded the European Excellence Award for Best HR Communication.

During his leisure time, he teaches university-level communications and is media advisor to several websites.
