Expo Technologies, leaders in Pharma PAT development and implementation, announce a key strategic partnership with high speed analysis company Cobalt Light Systems today.
Expo Technologies will support Cobalt’s Raman implementations in North America. The TRS100 analysis instrument quantifies the composition of hundreds of tablets, capsules or powders in minutes and is designed for completely automated stand-alone use. Other Cobalt PAT advancements include sensors for non-invasive analysis through opaque materials. Cobalt’s customers will be able to contact Expo Technologies’ St. Louis PAT Development Center directly for all their service support requirements.
“The applications for the TRS100 and Expo’s ePAT family of NIR, UV and Fluorescence spectrometers are complementary, and therefore the decision to support Cobalt’s installations was an easy one” explains Doug McGinn, Expo PAT Service Manager, in discussing the nature of the agreement.
Paul Loeffen, Chief Executive Officer of Cobalt Light Systems further commented, “Expo Technologies has an excellent reputation, in both North America and Europe, for providing spectroscopy, engineering and software solutions to the Pharma PAT community and I am delighted that we are formalizing this agreement”.
Expo Technologies, leaders in PAT development and implementation, has offices in Europe and the USA.
