HORIBA Scientific offers KnowItAll® software for Raman spectral searching

HORIBA Scientific and Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc., are pleased to announce that Bio-Rad’s KnowItAll® Informatics System software package will be offered for use with the HORIBA Scientific range of Raman spectrometers, via HORIBA’s LabSpec data acquisition and processing software.

The HORIBA Edition of KnowItAll provides an integrated environment for complete spectral searching, analysis and data mining.

With HORIBA’s Raman spectrometers, acquiring a good quality Raman spectrum is easy – however, linking that spectrum to a chemical identification can require more advanced knowledge. The KnowItAll® software can take the user from spectrum to identification within seconds, at the touch of a button.

Functionality of the KnowItAll HORIBA Edition includes spectral searching, mixture analysis, database creation and the AnalyzeIt™ spectrum/structure correlation tool. The HORIBA Edition also includes the HORIBA Raman Database, comprising over 1,750 spectra covering a wide range of application areas. Additional Bio-Rad databases with many more spectra are also available, yielding an unrivalled search capability.
