Biotechnology and pharmaceutical fluid-in-motion expert, Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG), announces Dr. Sade Mokuolu, Group Product Compliance Manager, will present on the topic “Four Steps to Safer, More Reliable Biomanufacturing”.
The live talk and masterclass at Interphex 2019, to be held 2 April, at the Javits Center, in New York, NY from 1:15 – 2:00 PM, on Stage 4 in the Exhibit Hall.
Dr. Mokuolu will present the industry collaborations that have formed to address concerns about supply chain management, particulates, extractables, system integrity, manufacturing environment, packaging qualification, and material properties. These initiatives have been developed with the input from Biophorum Operations Group (BPOG), Bio Process Systems Alliance (BPSA), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and American Society of Mechanical Engineers – Bioprocessing Equipment (ASME-BPE) members.
The masterclass will offer delegates an understanding of ‘best practice’ in qualifying polymer equipment in the drug manufacturing process. Watson-Marlow professionals will also be available throughout the show at booth #2388.
