Helsinn announces that pivotal Phase III trial data for Anamorelin in ROMANA 1 and 2 studies in non-small cell lung cancer patients with anorexia-cachexia will be presented at the 38th European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress in 2014

Helsinn Group, a company focused on building quality cancer care, today announces that Phase III data from the largest trial program of its kind to date in anamorelin, a novel, once-daily ghrelin receptor agonist in development for cancer-anorexia-cachexia (CACS) in non-small cell lung cancer will be presented at the 38^th European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress in Madrid, Spain, in 2014.

The data will be presented at a session, “Supportive and Palliative Care,” by the principal investigator in the study, at a session from 14.00 to 15.45 CET on Saturday September 27^th in the Pamplona room, IFEMA, Madrid.

Helsinn will host a press conference at 18.00 CET, September 27^th, at the IFEMA to discuss the data and broader issues around the treatment of cancer-anorexia-cachexia in non-small cell lung cancer.
