The European Medicines Agency (EMA) is pleased to welcome Dina Tsiambaou as the new Head of IT Development Department in the Information Technology Division.
Dina Tsiambaou joins the Agency from her role as Senior Manager at Accenture, where she had a long career defining, leading and delivering complex IT transformation and implementation projects. A Greek national and B.Sc. graduate in Computing in Business from Brunel University in London, Ms Tsiambaou holds extensive leadership experience, across different industries.
After exposure to a multitude of cultural and social environments from months spent working in China, Mauritius, Thailand, Singapore, Turkey, USA, Germany and Ireland, she commences her new role at the European Medicines Agency as of 16 February.
As with all EMA staff members, Ms Tsiambaou is required to declare her interests in the pharmaceutical industry and to have divested herself of any shares in pharmaceutical companies before starting work at the Agency. The Agency uses the information in each staff member’s declaration of interests to determine his or her level of involvement in specific activities.
