Teva’s Board of Directors votes to re-elect Dr. Phillip Frost as Chairman of the Board

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (NASDAQ: TEVA) announced today that its Board of Directors has unanimously voted to re-elect Dr. Phillip Frost as Chairman of the Board for a term of three years. Dr. Frost’s re-election as a director is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming annual meeting of shareholders.

Commenting on the Board’s decision, Professor Moshe Many, Vice Chairman of the Board, stated: “Dr. Phillip Frost has the Board’s full support.
